What type of events can I create?
You can create both paid and free events. Free events have no platform fees, while paid events allow you to sell tickets and receive payouts via Stripe.
Can I create events without a specific address?
No, we require real locations for in-person events. Contact us if you need virtual event options.
Can I edit events after creating them?
Yes, but major changes (date, time, location) may notify all attendees automatically.
What happens if I need to cancel my event?
You can cancel anytime. Attendees are notified immediately, and ticket refunds are processed automatically.
What if Google can't find my location?
Try a nearby address or landmark, or contact support for help with hard-to-find venues.

How do I invite people to my event?
Share the event link, invite by phone number/email, or make it public for anyone to find.
Can I invite people who don't have Let's Hang accounts?
Yes, they'll receive an invitation and can sign up to attend your event.
How do I track RSVPs?
You can view all guest statuses directly in the guest list on your event page.
How do I check-in people at my event?
Use the built-in check-in tool to scan QR codes or manually mark attendees as present.
TICKETED & PAYMENTS
How do I create my first paid event?
Select "Ticketed Event" during creation, add ticket types with prices, and connect your Stripe account.
What payment information do I need to provide?
You'll need to set up a Stripe account with bank details to receive payments.
What fees do you charge organizers?
We charge a small service fee percentage on each ticket sale, plus Stripe's ~2.9% + $0.30 processing fee.
When do I get paid?
Payments are transferred to your account after the event concludes, minus platform fees.
